Eternal Twilight Palette

The Luminous & Shadow Collection🔆🌑 is inspired by the Norse mythology of Baldr, God of Light, and Höðr, God of Darkness. In Norse mythology, light and darkness are intertwined, coexisting and reflecting one another. Where there is light, there is darkness, for nothing is everlasting.

This 24-shade palette spans from luminous golds and fiery reds to cool blues and deep grays. The design features a striking black-and-white split, symbolizing the balance between light and dark. One side contains vibrant, warm hues reminiscent of the gentle brilliance of dawn, representing Baldr. Known for his beauty and radiance, Baldr embodied purity and brightness. His tragic death, caused by his blind brother Höðr, marked the beginning of darkness encroaching upon the world.

The opposite side features cool, shadowy tones reflecting the mysterious depths of night, embodying Höðr. Though blind, Höðr is powerful, symbolizing the inevitable presence of shadow and uncertainty. His act of unknowingly bringing about Baldr’s death underlines the inescapable intertwining of light and darkness, as one cannot exist without the other.

This collection is a homage to the eternal dance of day and night, captured in a versatile palette that allows you to explore both sides of this timeless duality.
